Mismatched Shoes

Mismatched Shoes

I am always looking for an excuse to buy more than I really need to. I don’t know if it’s because I’m an actual shopping addict or because I’m trying to prove J wrong when he tells me I don’t need something. Either way, once my brain comes up with a reason, there’s no stopping me. The excuse I’ve been using lately is other fashion bloggers. When I see a trend I like on another blogger, I tell myself that I absolutely need to try it out myself (you know, for research). So when I saw Aimee Song wearing mismatched shoes on her Instagram the other day, I started my hunt for mismatched shoes.

It really wasn’t that hard. I found a pair of shoes I liked in two colors I wanted and voila, you’ve got your mismatched shoes! But as simple as it sounds, it made such a huge difference in my look. It’s a sneaky way to add a statement piece to your outfit and it makes me want to buy all of my shoes in two colors. I mean, it’s a win-win really. Double the shoes and a cute look!
